LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE is pleased to open its doors for Les Journées de la culture on September 30 and October 1, 2017 from 1pm to 5pm. For the occasion, the documentation center as well as our laboratories will be open to the public.
With the intention of highlighting the Web archive of the center, our documentalist made a selection of Web projects produced from 2000 to 2014. Indeed, it is in 2000 that LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE opened a production laboratory for Web art, enabling artists to make residencies dedicated to the virtual space. This event will highlight the productions made by the artists during this artistic repositioning of LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE.
In 2014, the digital arts laboratories offered tools specialized in electronics, computer science, virtual reality and motion capture. For the occasion, the laboratory coordination assistant will make guided tours of the place and technical demonstrations. In addition, there will be 3D prints and prizes offered to the public.
Les Journées de la culture will be an opportunity for the public to discover or rediscover LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE through the history and the various possibilities of production in contemporary art.
