LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE gladly welcomes Quebec artist Josiane Roberge. Josiane Roberge was the winner of the prix l@ch@mbrebl@nche 2012-2013. Her research and production work in situ went from October 7th to November 17th 2014. Resulting from this production residency, Josiane Roberge’s project LES TOURNEURS DE LANGAGES (THE LANGUAGE THROWERS) is embedded in a humanist an artistic approach seeking to create or reveal privileged experiences between individuals. Using notions of interpretation and translation, the artist works with texts from Quebec authors and then subjects them to a multitude of translations in order to reveal the many transformations born of the cultural subjectivity and the personal interpretation of the translator themselves.
