2017-2019

Delphine Hébert-Marcoux |

2017-2019

LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE is pleased to welcome Delphine Hébert-Marcoux as part of her Master's Degree in Visual Arts at Université Laval. The artist will benefit from the space of the laboratories of the center, all the equipment available as well as technical assistance for the realization of her projects. Hébert-Marcoux began her residency at the fall of 2017 and will continue until the summer of 2019.

Since 2013, Avatar, La Bande Vidéo and LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE have been working together to enable a Master's student in visual arts from École d'art of Université Laval to be in a residency in digital arts. The selected candidate has the opportunity to be in residency in the artist run center during the two years of her/his master's degree. This collaboration was made possible with the contribution of the Fonds Fondation-René-Richard.

Delphine Hébert-Marcoux will be able to develop the technical aspects of her projects as part of her residency at LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE, which will be realized through the development of audio, video, mobile and automated devices. These explorations will allow her to deepen her knowledge of technological tools and digital languages in a context of creation and exchange. In a desire to explore the possibilities of sensitive experiments in relationship to space and live interventions, Hébert-Marcoux seeks to create situations that immerse our bodies into a complex space that connects, exchanges and reverses our experience of the present and the presence.
