As part of Manif d'Art 10, we welcome Canadian artist David Rokeby who will show his work in our center from February 19 to April 24, 2021. For this event, two interactive works will be presented. First, there is Timbre Space (2021) which puts forward an architecture of sound timbre to be physically explored from 512 sounds tuned to the musical note "F". Subsequently, the installation Minimal Object (with time on your hands) (2012) explores the invisible tactility and spatial presence of sound. Sound objects float in front of the canvas reacting to the interaction of the spectator's hands. This minimal physical object acts as a vertical pedestal, a sculpture of sonic possibilities projecting out of its surface.
