Michelle Teran (CA) in residency

LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE is pleased to welcome the Canadian-Mexican artist Michelle Teran for a long-term residency taking place from September 1st to December 20. Teran defines her approach as multidisciplinary. She claims a hybrid practice that tightly links political and social involvement to contemporary art actions. As a part of her residency, we invite the public to a screening of the documentary Mortgaged Lives (https://vimeo.com/104237980) which will be followed by a discussion on Saturday, November 7 at 2pm. Then, on Saturday, December 5 at 2pm there will be a seminar on the theme of right to housing in Quebec City. In addition, the gallery will be open from December 6 to December 20 presenting the artifacts from the artist's research. This is not to be missed!
