Invitation for the seminar and opening of Michelle Teran (CA)

We are pleased to invite you to a seminar about the research of the Canadian-Mexican artist Michelle Teran which will take place on December 12 at 14h. During her residency at LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE, Teran pursued her work on the subjectivity of the housing crisis. She filmed a series of conversations with activists, architects, sociologists and other professionals involved in Quebec City who criticize crisis situations within their own communities. The research results will be presented in a conference with representatives of five organizations involved in rights to housing. The five agencies are BAIL (www.lebail.qc.ca), Mères et Monde (www.meresetmonde.qc.ca), Sherpa / PECH (infopech.org) FRAPRU (www.frapru.qc.ca) and the comité populaire de Saint-Jean-Baptiste (www.compop.net). Following this seminar, the gallery will be open from December 13 to December 20.
