On October 24 a fund-raising initiative supporting the Rad’Art cultural project conceived by Catalan artist Anton Roca will be launched at Fabbrica in Gambettola (FC, Italy). The initiative includes both a wide retrospective show of the works produced by Anton Roca over the last 25 years and an auction of the same works taking place on Saturday October 31.
The proceeds of the auction will be entirely donated to complete the rehabilitation of the Rad’Art headquarters.
The program of Rad’Art, one of the few artist residencies in Italy, revolves around the non-profit promotion of contemporary art research. Every year the program launches a competition for the selection of two artists who are offered the opportunity to spend a period at Rad’Art in order to promote its artistic and cultural development. Rad’Art offers the artists a wide range of cultural exchanges enabled by a network of partnerships and collaborations with national and international organisations of similar character including LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE.
