La Fameuse Housing Co-op was founded in 1984 and accommodates 21 apartments in three separate buildings on rue Saint-Olivier in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste district. Since its creation, the Cooperative has had a family policy aimed at prioritizing access to families with one or more children. In an effort to promote access to the arts and culture in the neighborhood, La Fameuse Housing Cooperative displayed the mural by the artist MC GROU. This mural project will contribute to the beautification of the neighborhood that has hosted the Cooperative for 35 years now. The mural will cover a brick wall 9.50 meters wide and more than 10 meters high, equivalent to three floors. This project is produced with Entente de développement culturel de la ville de Québec and supported by LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE. The launch of the mural will take place in late summer 2020.
