We invite the Italian artist Silvia Bigi for a virtual residency from August 19 to September 17, 2020. For her production, the artist will collect archive images that will be used to create a new pigment and explore a new relation with the photo. Through this project, Bigi wishes to deconstruct the status of photography as an act of domination over things by exploring the threshold between memory and representation. This residency was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Rad’Art center in Italy. A presentation is scheduled for September 17, 2020 from 5pm.
