Micro-conference - Graphic Poetry

Poetic writing can be experimental or classical. The typographic games, the collage, the trashtext, the calligrams and the animated GIF allow a diverse and exploded poetry. These maneuvers challenge the norms of classical literary presentations and offer an interesting perspective to the text. These variations are sometimes delinquent, humorous, but above all critical of the book as a standardized cultural object. Graphic poetry offers an indeterminate and open look on the text which blurs the lines of reading. As part of the satellite events of the Mois de la poésie, Carol-Ann Belzil-Normand will present examples of graphic poetry on Zoom on March 30, 2021 at 6 pm.
